"We love because God first loved us."
We are a community of people who come together in worship and fellowship, seeking to follow the teachings and example of Jesus in the way we support and care for each other and those in our community. It is our hope and prayer that, as we do so, we become a family of friends.
We are not about selling anything. Instead, we invite people into relationships: with each other and with God. We do this through worship, service, fellowship and fun. Please explore our website and get in touch if we can help you build the important relationships in your life.
Covid-19 Update -- 19th December
Following the announcement by the First Minister of Scotland on Saturday 19th December, there is a change to our plans for the rest of this year and into the New Year.
- Our final communal worship this year will be on Wednesday 23rd December at 2pm. Anyone who normally attends on a Saturday but wishes to come on Tuesday or Wednesday this week, should book ahead by calling 01382 534844.
- Our Zoom Christmas Eve service and the pre-recorded Lessons & Carols service are STILL GOING AHEAD as planned. To find out more, go to our 'Christmas' page.
- Our services for 27th December and 3rd January will be pre-recorded online. You can find these online via this website, our podcast page or YouTube. If you not online and are local to Monifieth, a recording of our services on the media of your choice (DVD, CD, USB or cassette tape) can be delivered to you on a Sunday afternoon: please call the minister or parish assistant on 01382 699183 to request this service.
- In January, we had planned to take a break from in-person services anyway. As such, we invite you to worship with others during that period, e.g. other congregations online; the CoS's virtual congregation "Sanctuary First"; BBC television and radio offerings.
Please know that we continue to hold all affected by this outbreak in our prayers. Take good care of yourselves and God be with you.
